Message from the Principal
I am thrilled and honored to have been named the principal of Denison Montessori School! I am excited for the opportunity to work with our students, hard-working staff, and supportive families. I know that through collaboration, hard work and support for one another we will be the best public Montessori school in the state of Colorado.
A little bit about myself: I joined Denver Public Schools in 2004 as a speech-language pathologist and co-taught in a 4th grade classroom. I remained in the position for ten years before completing the Ritchie Program for School Leaders through the University of Denver. I have served as a school leader since 2014 and am excited to transition into the role of principal. As Denison’s principal, I believe that my role is to support our students, teachers, and families so we can all continue to learn and grow.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ted, our two children, Ben and Lulu, our dog, Cocoa, and our puppy Rosie. Among my passions are reading, practicing yoga, watching my daughter play soccer, discussing movies with my son, walking my dogs, cooking and baking, traveling and cheering for the Broncos and the Rockies.
I feel honored to be the principal at Denison Montessori. I look forward to all of the successes and learning we will achieve together. The door to my office is always open. Please stop by and say hello when you are in the building or send an email if I can be of assistance in any way.
