Denison Parent Organization (DPO) is comprised of parents, staff, and community members who are committed to reaching out to all students and parents to improve our children's future. DPO Mission Statement: Build relationships between parents and teachers for the better of the Denison Community through teamwork, and effective communication to ensure the academic and success of all students. Join DPO today!Be a Role Model. By becoming involved, you'll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education. Get Engaged. Discover what's happening in your school. Great Resources. DPO offers a variety of events created for parents and students. Parent Support. Share ideas, concerns and experiences with other parents and educators in the community. The parents of Montessori students have made the success of our magnet program possible. They have sought out the program, entrusted their children to the method, and then have become a part of the school community. Parents attend school programs, come to conferences, observe in classrooms, volunteer, raise funds, and serve on the committees such as the following: What is the difference between CSC and DPO? DPO works to support the school and classroom activities that foster a sense of community. Such activities include Staff Appreciation Day, Taste of Denison, etc. |
