Denison Montessori Preschool and Elementary Programs

Application forms for new Denison students are available at the school. Prospective students apply before the end of January. Your child must be 3 years old before October 1st. There is no tuition charge for children in the Upper and Lower Elementary (1st through 6th grade) programs. Parents of children in the Montessori preschool program and kindergarten are charged a monthly tuition. Tuition assistance may be available. 

When you come it to fill out an application, please bring the following:

1. Verification of the child's age (birth certificate, passport, baptismal record, or hospital record showing birth)
2. Verification of home address (current lease, mortgage statement, or utility bill)
3. Copy of child's immunization record
4. Preschool and kindergarten only - Verification for 1 month's income for each parent/guardian (most current check stub(s), 2007 tax return or W-2(s), or letter from an employer on company letterhead stating pay rate, hours worked each week, and a business phone number and contact name)

A lottery determines acceptance with the exception that siblings of students already attending Denison have priority. Returning students are enrolled at the end of the previous year.

Continuation of Montessori Schooling after Denison

DPS Montessori education for Montessori-trained children in 7th and 8th grade is held at Hamilton Middle School. For further information, call Hamilton at (303) 722-4633. Bus transportation is also provided to this DPS Magnet School.
